My 14 year old Golden Retrieve/Chihuahua, (I know. How did THAT happen? "I don't know what that is, but I'm hitting it") had Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) surgery about 6 years ago. The vet also mentioned something about a spinal issue. She has had a leg shake for a couple of years, but it has gotten worse. She has also been falling down a lot, even when she is squatting or jumping a small step. I started her on this, and noticed a huge difference even the first day. The shaking is down probably 80% or more, she isn't falling down as much, and seems to have more pep. We're only on Day 3, but looking forward to possible further improvement.
Just for entertainment, the pictures are from 6 years ago, on her first trip to Chik-Fil-A, and on the way home. We also go out kayaking occasionally, and this is her self-loading on only our third trip. Yeah, she really is the cutest little dog. Too bad she is deaf now, but we deal with that.
