My dog takes this on his food with no problem at all. It seems to be odorless and flavorless. He weighs 10lb so only needs 5 drops. I don’t think he notices it at all. Too soon to tell if it will help his liver values, but I’m hopeful. He has a sensitive stomach, and he hasn’t had any digestion issues while taking this so far. Seems to be a good quality product

Simple ingredients
I like that there are only 3 ingredients in this: milk thistle, vegetable glycerin, and water. No artificial flavorings or preservatives. At first the potency seemed fairly low, then I realized it was 16.67mg per drop, not per dropper. Dosage depends on your dog's size, but for those under 30 pounds, it's one drop per two pounds.

Milk Thistle and ONLY Milk Thistle!
I ordered this because my vet suggested that Milk Thistle would be beneficial for a little senior dachshund that I just adopted recently. She came with a horrible set of teeth and the pre-anesthetic blood work that was done before her dental procedure indicated that her liver was starting to become compromised.
Most of the other milk thistle products on the market also contain other ingredients, such as guar gum and lecithin. This lists only milk thistle seed (along with glycerin and purified water as carriers), which is what I understand my vet wants her to have... JUST the milk thistle!
It's obviously too early to know whether or not she will benefit from this, however this company also sells a "human formulation" under a different name and I've had satisfactory results with that product, so I have no reason to suspect this product will not be equally satisfactory.
